Elizabeth Dalton, J.D. (801-599-0303) is the founder of Rise Strong After Divorce. She is a family law attorney and family mediator who promotes the healing of families. She is a Master Mediator on the Utah Court mediator roster. She is a certified facilitator of The Daring Way™ and Rising Strong--a life-skills and trauma recovery curriculum based on the research of Dr. Brene Brown. For over 30 years, Liz Dalton has assisted over 2000 families with interventions including:

  • Family and Divorce Mediation
  • Marriage and pre-marital coaching
  • Divorce consulting
  • Private and Court-Appointed Special Master Interventions
  • Post-divorce and co-parent coaching
  • Step-family consulting
  • Faith-based family mediations

Liz Dalton is a co-author of Healing Hearts: Helping Adults and Children Heal from Divorce (Gold Leaf Press 1994). She assisted in lobbying for and designing the Utah Divorce Education and Divorce Orientation Classes. She values the lessons she learned from her own divorce experience and in raising three children and four step children. Because she “lives the life” of her clients, she has acquired empathy for the challenges they face.

Liz Dalton collaborates with a network of Utah professionals who promote the healing of families as they transition through divorce and parental separation.

Sara Dickson, MSC/SC (801-243-4547) has a B.S. in Psychology from BYU-Idaho and a Master’s degree in Counseling. She is a Mediator certified through the State of Utah for Domestic and Basic Mediation for the past 5 years.  She is currently active on the Utah State Court Roster for Mediation.

She provides Family, Marriage, Relationship, and Kids’ Coaching Services to help navigate high conflict situations peacefully and to help build better communication skills for the past 15 years. For the past 10 years, she has worked in the juvenile court system as a facilitator/counselor, teaching Aggression Replacement Training to adolescents. She is a child of divorce and successfully navigates its many challenges. She is married and the mother of four children.

Chelsi Rasmussen (801-735-7067) has a B.S. in social work and provides Kids’ Coaching services. She served as a Child Advocate for the Academy of Child and Family Services in Provo, Utah. She taught parenting classes at the Family Support and Treatment Center in Orem, Utah. She has worked with post adoption families regarding family adjustment issues. She specializes in child abuse, trauma recovery, and divorce adjustment issues. Chelsi is a child of divorce and successfully navigates its challenges. She is married and is the mother of four children.
